Kaifeng High School is located in the older part of town, which gives it that charm you don't normally find in other Chinese cities. The school is about a 10 minute walk from the ancient city walls, which are at least 700 years old. Kaifeng High School is ranked as the best high school in Kaifeng city and one of the best in the province.
The apartments are located at the rear of the campus in a separate building just for foreign teachers and a couple Chinese teachers. It is less than a five minute walk to the classroom. They are single person apartments with a living room, bedroom kitchen, and bathroom. Facilities include basics like a washing machine, furniture for the living room and bedroom, and a microwave oven and fridge in the kitchen.
On Campus
Kaifeng is a smaller Chinese town that still can give the feel of a real China experience, however the city does offer a balance by having modern facilities, Starbucks, McDonalds, pizzerias, bars and shopping.
